||
拉丁字母是最普遍书写toki pona的体系。然而，还有其他书写系统被采用或创作来书写toki pona。
|

## 采用固有的书写系统
|
||
|
||
由于toki pona只有9个辅音和5个元音，采用全音素文字系统时只需要选择14个发音相似的字母（或字母组合）。举例，你可以根据以下列表使用希腊和西里尔字母：

采用元音附标或辅音音素文字系统会比较困难⸺它们只有辅音字母，元音以附加符号表示或不被标记。最普遍的元音附标和辅音音素文字系统分别是阿拉伯文字和天城文（用作书写印度和尼泊尔里许多语言的系统）。

toki pona亦只有92个音节（把"-n"分开来算的话，47个音拍），因此也可以采用音节文字系统来书写。

||
*sitelen pona*（"简单文字"）是最普遍为toki pona而设的书写系统，与汉字一样是语素文字系统。它由索尼娅·兰创作并于官方书籍中发表。
|
||
|
||
如汉字一样，每个字符标示整个字而非一个音（"合成字符"甚至可以标示两三个字），但与拉丁字母一样是从左至右书写，行列由上至下行。非官方词汇以名框包围，框内一个字符标示一个字母。

|
||
|
||
Jonathan Gabel（中译"约翰"）创作的书写系统["sitelen sitelen"](https://jonathangabel.com/toki-pona/)
|
||
是一个较为美观和艺术性的书写系统。它的外观由玛雅文字启发，并也是非线性系统。
|
||
|
||
相对于拉丁字母和sitelen pona，sitelen sitelen明显地较难理解，因此在社区中较为罕见。然而，观看[这份合同](https://www.jonathangabel.com/archive/2012/artworks_lipu-lawa-pi-esun-kama.html)和[这系列toki pona谚语](https://jonathangabel.com/toki-pona/dictionaries/gallery/)（当中很多于官方书籍作展示）等作品后，必然难以否认其优雅和绮丽。
